For two weeks now I have swapped out my computer chair for an exercise ball and have been very satisfied with the results. I wrote an article about my experience with photos of ball exercises I do to break up a day of sitting.

The inspiration came after reading an alarming article on NPR entitled: Sitting All Day: Worse For You Than You Might Think, I realized that in spite of 30 minute daily exercises, I was still not doing enough for my health.

To address this problem, I now sit on a ball and break up my day with more exercises. I will outline other routines in further articles.
